Happy National Puppy Day

Cato and Lucky relax on their special day.

Cato and Lucky would like to wish everyone a Happy National Puppy Day. Today we’re getting pampered, just like any other day, haha! We may not be puppies anymore, but we still think and act like puppies. Treat your fur babies extra nice today!

Happy National Puppy Day

Our puppy pictures!

We would like to wish everyone a Happy National Puppy Day. Even though we are a lot bigger than the photo above we are still puppies to our dads. And we still act like puppies! We hope all you dog parents give your puppies, big or small, an extra treat today. Have fun everyone.

Happy National Puppy Day

Cato and Lucky at 2 months old

Today is National Puppy Day and I just had to share a photo of Cato and Lucky on their first day with us. We bought them from someone who posted their photos on a pet adoption site. We picked them up in a parking lot at Chili’s in Henrietta. We were only going to take one, but we couldn’t decide, so we took both of them. We couldn’t resist and we have had no regrets! How could someone not love puppies? Just thinking!

Lucky’s Favorite Spot in Bed!

As soon as it gets dark outside Lucky can’t wait to go upstairs to bed. Once we go to sleep she lays at the foot of the bed, but as soon as I fall asleep she manages to find her favorite place on the pillow just behind my pillow. Often times she will rest her head almost on top of mine. Cato on the other hand loves to sleep between us and will not allow Lucky near his spot! I often wish for a King Sized bed!

Happy Birthday Cato and Lucky!

Lucky and Cato anxiously awaiting their Birthday Cakes.

Finally they can dig in!

On February 27, 2017 Cato and Lucky celebrated their 3rd birthday complete with a  party abirthday cake for each of them. They thoroughly enjoyed every single crumb! They may be 3 years old, but they still act like puppies.

Lucky’s View from Under the Kitchen Table

This is what my dad’s can see when they are eating at the kitchen table. I squeeze in between the table and whoever is sitting there. Sometimes I get lucky and they give me something or a crumb drops!

Waiting to go to Sleep.

This is our humans bed, or at least they think it is! We have our own beds, but we really like this one better. For some reason our dads don’t want to sleep in our beds, so we sleep with them in theirs. Whenever one of our humans goes upstairs we always go and get on the bed just in case we can take a nap with them. We are usually ready to go to bed after dark and can’t wait to run upstairs to sleep for the night.

I’m Watching you!

From his vantage point on the couch my brother Cato can watch our human parents while they are in the kitchen cooking or eating. If a morsel of food falls to the floor of if a bag is opened, especially our treats, we can be there to scarf it up in a second! Do I look hungry?

The Chief Food Safety Inspector – Lucky

Since I have to protect my humans at all times I think it is necessary for me to make sure everything they eat is okay. Here I am inspecting my dad’s meal for safety. Unfortunately he doesn’t agree with my job as food safety inspector because I didn’t get anything to sample! I keep trying though and every once and a while I get a snack!

Who Says We’re Spoiled?

Cato and Kevin

Lucky and Kevin

Ever since we were little puppies we loved to be picked up by our humans, especially Cato. When Cato was younger he just loved to be held and carried by everybody. Now that we are both over 40 lbs. it is a little difficult for our humans to pick us up and carry us around, but Kevin does once and awhile. Lucky is a little nervous, but Cato doesn’t want to get down. When our humans are sitting on the couch we have to sit on top of them all of the time. Do you think we’re spoiled?
