Time for Birthday Cake!

Cato and Lucky with their peanut butter birthday cake.

Yesterday we enjoyed our birthday dinner with our dads, but we waited until today to have our birthday cake. It wasn’t our choice to wait though. It was good that we waited because we were exhausted last night after our big dinner.

Tonight we couldn’t wait to get into that big peanut butter birthday cake bone. As you can see we didn’t like the idea of waiting, especially Lucky. Don’t worry we weren’t allowed to eat the whole thing tonight. We can take a few days to finish off the cake. We’d like to thank everyone for all of the birthday wishes we received. Now we have to rest.

It’s Our Birthday Today!

We’re having our birthday dinner with our dads.

Aren’t we well behaved at the dinner table?

Seven years ago Lucky and I were born. In April our dads adopted us and brought us to live with them in their new home. Today (February 27) is also the day that our dads arrived in the United States from Malaysia to live permanently. Three years ago our dad Kevin received notice that he passed the qualifications to become a US citizen. Tomorrow is also our dad Steve’s birthday.

Because there was so much to be grateful for our dad Kevin cooked us all a big meal. For our birthday he cooked us steak, carrots and cabbage. We even had a roll. Our dads had crab legs, which we didn’t have. Because we had so much to eat we have to wait until tomorrow for our birthday cake. It’ll be another great day for us. We will share the pictures of the birthday cake tomorrow. Here are a few more pictures of us eating our birthday dinner. See how well behaved we are sitting at the table!

Happy Birthday to us, Happy Birthday to us, Happy Birthday Cato and Lucky, Happy Birthday to us!

Happy Chinese New Year from Cato and Lucky

Lucky and I would like to wish all of our family and friends who celebrate the Chinese New Year a very Happy New Year. This year is the year of the Ox. Our dad, Kevin, is from Malaysia and is Malaysian Chinese, so this is a big holiday for him – and us.

Our dads and their niece are having a traditional Malaysian meal served during the Lunar New Year. It is called a “steamboat”. It is very good, but we won’t get much of anything, except maybe for some veggies that are good for us. We can always hope though.

Good Morning World!

Good morning from Lucky and Cato.

This is what our dads see every morning when they open their eyes. A little bit of quiet time before we get excited to go out and pee and wait, in hopes of sharing some breakfast with them. The bed is our favorite place in the house. But it would be nice if our dads bought a bigger one so we could stretch out. Some day!
